I love the idea of having ‘love’ or ‘lovie’ being a nickname for a little girl. I know that in theory that you could call anyone ‘love’ regardless of name but I would really like a creative name that has love incorporated into the first name.
I’ve seen Lovana, [name_f]Lovis[/name_f], [name_f]Beloved[/name_f], [name_f]Lovely[/name_f], [name_f]Lovina[/name_f], [name_f]Lovella[/name_f], [name_f]Loverna[/name_f], [name_u]Lovelace[/name_u] on the nameberry website, but do you guys have any creative variations for including love?
There are many names that mean ‘love’ that you could use, but with love in the name, how about [name_f]Lovinia[/name_f] (or [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] could work too) or [name_f]Lovisa[/name_f]
The only name that comes to mind is [name_m]Lovett[/name_m] which is a surname. Maybe it could be more wearable with another e added to the end to make it Lovette? Like [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]/Nicolette etc
Interesting topic!
Annabel / [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] / [name_f]Mable[/name_f] means lovable
[name_f]Amoret[/name_f] means little love
[name_f]Carys[/name_f] means love
[name_f]Lova[/name_f]
[name_u]Loveday[/name_u]
I second [name_f]Lovisa[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Lovise[/name_f]?)
I was going to suggest Elovie as well. Also maybe Evolet or Olive? Has the letters in there (and Evolet theoretically is an elaborated version of Love spelled backwards…, but I love the sound!)
And a little more of a stretch could be Liveva
