It’s YOUR child, not theirs. If YOU want to name him just [name]Max[/name], then do it. Sure, it’d be great to have the longer form to fall back on, but it’s not necessary.
You could go with [name]Massimo[/name], the Italian variation of [name]Maximus[/name]. But if you truly think all of the long forms are yuck, just go with [name]Max[/name] by itself!
I’d definitely do [name]Maddox[/name] nn [name]Max[/name]. Whoever is pooping your idea needs to go poop in a toilet.
I like [name]Maxwell[/name], mostly because I work with an adorable boy whose last name is that.
I know someone called [name]Malachi[/name] and we call him [name]Max[/name].
A friend of mine recently brought up the name [name]Mannix[/name] with the nn [name]Max[/name]… not sure wht I think, but it is an option!
I love [name]Maxfield[/name] - maybe other posters have suggested that.
Or how about [name]Maxence[/name]?
I have an Uncle [name]Max[/name], full name [name]Malcolm[/name]. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but I think it kind of works.
I like [name]Max[/name] as it is - I would just go with that. Of all the names listed though, I think [name]Maddox[/name] is the best one and could totally be shortened to [name]Max[/name].
[name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Max[/name] sound perfect together, and I don’t think you need a full version. I like [name]Maximilian[/name] but its always seemed a little too much.
[name]Max[/name] is within the top 20 boys names in the UK so a lot of people here consider it as a stand alone.
I like the idea of [name]Macauley[/name] nn [name]Max[/name], as well as [name]Maddox[/name]! Someone recently suggested [name]Maddox[/name] nn [name]Max[/name] to me and I definitely think it works.
