Loxley?

Hey everyone. I keep seeing this name [name_u]Loxley[/name_u] everytime I visit a town near me and I just really love it. I would say it’s gender neutral but I probably am more swayed to using it for a [name_m]Boy[/name_m] only. But what do you think of the name? Does it work as a name that will age ok with the child? I just think it’s a cool fun name but I’m not sure if it’s too like a celeb made up baby name?
Thoughts?
Thanks :smiling_face::+1:

I like the sound of it and the association with [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood is cool. I prefer it for a boy too.

It definitely fits in with the trend of modern/invented names.

[name_u]Loxley[/name_u] is kind of cool, but when I hear it I think of lox (smoked salmon).

I adore this name! The only [name_u]Loxley[/name_u] I know is a little girl, 13 months old (it’s her middle name). :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I don’t think it sounds made up. It sounds historical, geographical, and lovely.

It’s a bit of a mouthful but also a subtle [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood reference so on balance I like it! :bow_and_arrow::leaves:

I like [name_u]Loxley[/name_u] feels outdoorsy and romantic with strong [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood imagery. I don’t think the name sounds made up at all I think the name feels very established with geographical elements.
