Alright, everyone… our little guy is finally here!!! I was due 8/16 but my water broke at 1:40am on 8/9. After pitocin and 28 hours of labor including two full hours of pushing with no progression, he was born via c-section at 5:54am on 8/10. He wound up being 9lb 7oz, 21.5in… big guy!! He is absolutely perfect, and we are so in love!
We went with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], which seems just right for our sweet boy. <3
Lucas was just a name we both liked and kept coming back to, so we went with it. Samuel is an honor name, after my late father in law (whose middle was also Samuel)… and to make it even better, Lucas so far looks a whole lot like his dad and grandfather, who he’s named after!
