Despite Popularity, what are your honest thoughts on [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]?

I like it! I personally prefer [name_m]Luke[/name_m] on its own, but I think [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is a great name - very friendly sounding and cool. There’s a reason it’s popular!

I love [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] (I actually like [name_m]Luke[/name_m] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] too.) It’s popular for good reason; it sounds cool and sporty, but also like a nice, friendly guy.

I love [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]! We actually named our son [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] in 2012. I highly recommend the name.

Oh, so cute! I love [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] “[name_m]Luke[/name_m]”. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is something I bit fresher if you prefer it. :slight_smile:

I really love [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]; the name seems gentle, friendly, and strong! It’s an easy-going, familiar name that could suit a lot of people.

I like it! I like the [name_m]German[/name_m] spelling, [name_m]Lukas[/name_m], a bit more, but [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is super handsome.

There’s a good chance that if we have a son one day, he’ll be a [name_m]Lukas[/name_m] (that’s the natural spelling for us)… so you could say I like the name quite a bit! :blush:

I love the soft -as ending, and it just feels straightforward, lively, and bright.

The popularity doesn’t bother me - in some cases it might, but not when it comes to my favourite names, and [name_m]Lukas[/name_m] is one of them.

Love it. This is a name that I think absolutely merits use, no matter the popularity.

I also like [name_u]Luca[/name_u]. Not quite as much as [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], but it is still lovely. It has risen in popularity as well, but isn’t quite as popular if that makes you feel better.

Oddly I have not encounter any young Lucases, even though I work with kids smack dab in the middle of the name’s rise in popularity. Who knows.

I love [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]! Soo handsome, sweet and cute :two_hearts: I do love [name_m]Luke[/name_m] and Luca/Luka a wee bit more though I do admit :two_hearts::slightly_smiling_face: But, all 3 variations of this name are sooo perfect!
