[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or [name_f]Ebba[/name_f]?
Torn between these two names! [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is simple and classic, [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] is sweet and Swedish… Help!
Thanks

It’s a hard choice to make! I think they’re both nice names.
I will have to go with [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] though. It has a sweet sound! And I know many Lucies so as pretty as it is it’s lost a bit of its spark for me.
I really like both! I’d probably go with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], but [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] is really nice!
Side note: I think [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] would get confused with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] a lot.
I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!
Lucy
Thank you!
I think both are beautiful but I prefer [name_f]Ebba[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] in general, but [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] is quite distinctive and, if it is culturally significant to you, that’s the one I’d go for.
Lucy for me.
Ebb is a cool word and I’ve never heard [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] before. But the idea of ebbing is a little bittersweet to me.
I adore both but [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] gmv as it’s so cool and bubbly
They’re both sweet! If you live in a predominantly [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking area (and love both names equally) I’d go with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] just because [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] is too easily confused with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] & [name_u]Ever[/name_u] type names. That’s being said if you love [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] (or live somewhere the name is familiar) than that would be my pick
I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] myself. It’s a beautiful name and I love the meaning. [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] is sweet but it would probably be confused with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] where I live. However, perhaps that’s not an issue in other cultures.
I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
Ebba! But [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is very beautiful as well.
Ebba just because we need more of them in the world. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is gorgeous though
Echoing @LibelluleClaire!
To a native [name_f]English[/name_f] speaker, [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] is HORRIBLE. It sounds so wrong. I hate it. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is much better.
Ebba is a recent crush of mine, so I’ll go with that
Thanks for the help!
Ebba is so gorgeous! I say go with [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] because as @Etymology said we need more Ebbas in the world!
