I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], with the nickname [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]. It’s sweet, fun but also elegant.

[name_f]My[/name_f] younger sister’s name is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and we call her [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Lu[/name_f]

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is still my favorite “[name_f]Lu[/name_f]” name. I also am starting to like [name_f]Lucette[/name_f] and [name_f]Malou[/name_f].

Of your choices above, [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is my favorite.

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is such a fun name, so from your list I voted on that one. [name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorite would be [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

I have a niece named [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] that we call [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]. You could also do a combo name like [name_f]Marilou[/name_f] or [name_f]Louann[/name_f]. [name_f]Lilou[/name_f] is also a cute option.

I think [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]/[name_f]Louise[/name_f] work the best for [name_f]Lulu[/name_f].

I like Lulu on its own if it is an option. Or Lula since neither Lucy nor Louise are my cup of tea and, to be honest, Tallulah doesn’t seem like a good fit with your other favorites. I think Luna can work, too.

I was thinking about [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] on it’s own, actually, but I felt like, if people can’t see [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] on a grown up, [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] would be a definite no.

I like [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] on its own, but longer versions I find pretty include [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_f]Lucina[/name_f], and [name_f]Lumina[/name_f].

[name_f]Louisa[/name_f].

I can see [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] on grown women but [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] feels a lot more cutesy to me than those two.

I love [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]! That’s pretty much all I have to say.

I really like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucie[/name_f] but I think I’ll call her with full name most of the time. So vote for [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]!

I love all of these but picked [name_f]Louise[/name_f]/[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] because I had to choose one! I actually have a niece due this summer who will be named [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]. [name_m]JUST[/name_m] [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] (with a middle name too). I love some nickname-y names that stand alone, but [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] feels a bit too familiar to use by itself - though I do appreciate that they’re going off the beaten name path. I like your choices much better though

I prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. Its classic and beautiful and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] is darling! I also am fond of [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] but prefer [name_u]Tallie[/name_u] (the perfect Southern nn) for it.

[name_f]Lula[/name_f] was a favourite of mine for a while (as a stand alone name) but I really love ‘‘just [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]’’ at the minute too, maybe more than [name_f]Lula[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite longer form is probably [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], which was one of my first favourites. If I was ever to use [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] it would be short for [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]. It’s just so gorgeous and fun and metropolitan sounding to me. I don’t really think [name_f]Lula[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] works just because they’re practically the same name to me.

I think it’s one of those nicknames that works with pretty much any name with an L sound (I have a friend called [name_f]Laura[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], and I know several [name_m]French[/name_m] girls too, although it tends to be [name_u]Julie[/name_u] nn Julielu nn [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] etc.). I know of a little [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] who’s full name is [name_f]Mariella[/name_f], which was a bit weird to me at first but I think it works.

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] are nice but not really me.
I love [name_f]Louella[/name_f]/[name_f]Luella[/name_f], [name_f]Emmylou[/name_f] and [name_f]Lux[/name_f] as longer forms (okay [name_f]Lux[/name_f] isn’t longer, but it definitely has a formal feel to me). They’re all sort of GP names for me but they’re very sweet with nn [name_f]Lulu[/name_f].

I have a [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] whose predominant nickname is [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]…
Works well for us!

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is my favorite way! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] as well.
