Any suggestions of longer names?

I think it’s good stand alone but maybe:

Luminous/ Luminesence
Lumikki
Or else
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Millicent[/name_f] (or some way of getting to [name_f]Lu[/name_f]-Mi)

I’ve had it as a nickname for [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] on my list in the past, and also for [name_f]Lumi[/name_f]ère, which is a bit more of a GP.

Other options include:
Bloom
[name_f]Bluma[/name_f] (a Yiddish name)
[name_u]Columba[/name_u] or [name_f]Columbine[/name_f] or Columbina
[name_f]Ludmila[/name_f]/Ludmilla
Luminita (a Romanian name meaning “little light”)
Luzmaría (a Spanish smoosh name)

You also might be able to get away with [name_f]Melusine[/name_f] or [name_f]Malou[/name_f], which have the sounds, just in the wrong order.

I do think using a first name with the “[name_f]Lu[/name_f]” sound and a middle name which begins with an M might be a good option.

It’s not necessarily a name name, but what about Luminaria?

[name_f]Lumi[/name_f] is so bright and sweet! I like Lumen as a full name.

Lumis is also a name - usually masculine, I believe, but it’s so rare that I think it could easily be used for either sex.

I like [name_f]Lumina[/name_f], [name_f]Lumi[/name_f]ère, Luminita and Aluma.

[name_f]Iluminada[/name_f]? It’s a Spanish name meaning “illuminated”.

I would go straight to [name_f]Lumi[/name_f]. I love it! I don’t see the point of complicating her name if she will be called [name_f]Lumi[/name_f].
