The other day i saw on instagram a birth announcement about a ballerina that name her baby girl [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and since then this name has interesting me .
So do any of you have any information about that name ? Origin , meaning etc ?
What do you think about that name ? do you like it ?
I kinda like it & it has the cute nn [name_f]Luna[/name_f] .
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is a gorgeous name. Personally, I wouldn’t use it, but it’s one of my guilty pleasure names. Paired with [name_f]Belle[/name_f], this name sounds very elegant and flows well. With the nn [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] reminds me of candlelight, star-gazing, and a beautiful night sky. I don’t have any information about the name, but I would love for you to use it.
I had a character named [name_f]Lumina[/name_f], with the nickname Lumi; but I didn’t end up finishing that story. I think [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is really cute and sophisticated at the same time.
I like it and I love the nicknames [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and Lumi. In the US there is a car called the [name_f]Lumina[/name_f], so I identify with that. Although it is an older model so some people won’t know what it is/was.
I say [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] over Lumiere. Lumiere makes me think of the candle from Beauty and The Beast. [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is cute though. And I’ve been loving [name_f]Luna[/name_f] lately.
I immediately thought of the car (it’s an older model Chevrolet) as well. Then I thought of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. Personally, I’m not a fan (for those reasons), but that’s just me.
I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Lumina[/name_f]. I had it on my middle list for a while. It’s gorgeous and it would mean light. I like it with the nickname Lumi but it could also have [name_f]Mina[/name_f], [name_f]Lina[/name_f], [name_f]Lili[/name_f] (leelee), [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Nia[/name_f], and Luma.
I also have a friend with a daughter Luminitsa, which is [name_u]Roma[/name_u] I think (because their family is [name_u]Roma[/name_u]).
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is Latin and means “brilliant light”, [name_f]Luminosa[/name_f] is the spanish variation of it. [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is definitely more usable as it does not sound as much like a [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] spell. Go for it.
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is the word for light in Romanian (like the furniture item). I think it sounds pretty as a name and has great nickname potentials.
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is one of my GP names! In high school, I used to play a video game called Harvest [name_f]Moon[/name_f] (where you run a farm and get married - I was such a cool gamer) and there was a side character named [name_f]Lumina[/name_f]. I fell in love with the name, but this was also a time when [name_m]Chevy[/name_m] Luminas were absolutely everywhere, so it seemed unusable. I think that has changed now, though people my age in the US will always think of the car at least once, lol.
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f] is very pretty (and I have a soft spot for Lumi;)). [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is such a beautiful combination!
I much prefer [name_f]Lumina[/name_f] over Lumiere.
