I prefer [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] too [name_f]Jemimah[/name_f] however the racist slur associated with this name is a turn off. EttaMae joint together as one name is strange [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] looks better but I prefer [name_f]Etta[/name_f] with a longer middle name for example [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. [name_f]Emmelyn[/name_f] sounds sweet but prefer [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f].

As a rule, I’m not opposed to boy names on girls as some Berries, but I think [name_m]Luther[/name_m] on a girl is just bad. Bad. I agree with ou that it’s a great name. It’s on my boy list; I love it. But its just not a girls name. At all.
Your other names are nice. I particularly like [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], but if you live in the US, I’m not sure it’s a good idea.

It’s not a girls’ name, so no, it could not work for a girl. About as distinctly unfeminine as you could get.

To get an idea from what other people general opinions are .Thats what i do . I was saying to her to listen the opinions & advise but in the end if she loves the name , there isnt anyone who can stop her from using it . And this is the right thing .
