[name_f]Lila[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Lyla[/name_f].

I prefer sweet and simple little [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. For me, the Y looks a little awkward next to the L’s myself, and the H just feels unnecessary to me.

I’m biased. I have a [name_f]Lilah[/name_f].
I don’t like Y’s in names and it looked too much to me like [name_u]Lyle[/name_u].
I was torn between the H or no H but with the H it looked more biblical (which I like) and avoided the prononciation of [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-la which I was getting from people with no H spelling.

for lie-lah i would spell it [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] whereas i pronounce [name_f]Lila[/name_f] as lee-lah

I prefer [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] to me could be confused for lee-lah whereas [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is obviously Lie-la.
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] is ok too but I still prefer [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] !

I pronounce [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Lilah[/name_f], and [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] identically. I prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f] as [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] looks like a nickname for [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and the y in [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] looks out of place.

I like [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] best - not sure why, but it might just be that the y makes the pronunciation obvious. I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] too though

I don’t like [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], though I think it has the most obvious pronunciation. I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] best—short and sweet!—but agree with other posters that [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is more intuitively pronounced with the long I sound. The -h gives it a flowery, Southern feel to me (like [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] vs. [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]).
