I like it! I know a woman named [name_u]Kyle[/name_u] and I think that soft ‘le’ ending really works. [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] would fit right in with [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lula[/name_f], [name_f]Layla[/name_f], etc…

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Lyle[/name_u]! Then again, unisex/surname names are my favorites!

I’d pair [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] with a longer more feminine middle like [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] or [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], or I’d go more modern like [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] [name_m]Reeves[/name_m].

I don’t like it because [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] feels too much like an old man name & it just doesn’t feel right for a girl.

Not my style but not horrible. I prefer it for a boy .

I wouldn’t choose it, but I have a friend who chose it for one of her daughter’s middle names. It’s her husband’s middle, too, a family name passed down from dad to daughter. Kind of charming.

Its nms and tbh I would probably assume it was an alternate spelling of [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] but if you don’t mind correcting people it can work.

I knew a girl called [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u], and that fitted her well, so I can see [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] working

I don’t love [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] for either gender but can appreciate it for others

I adore [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] for a boy, but it doesn’t feel quite right to me on a girl.

I prefer [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] on the whole, but [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] is interesting! A great potential honor for a [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], too.

I don’t like it, and there are so many similar girl’s names you could use instead

Technically it could work, but Im not very fond of it. I prefer [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] or [name_f]Layla[/name_f]
