Lyna

How would you rate the name [name_f]Lyna[/name_f]? (1-10.) Pronounced LEE-nuh.

1/10, since I don’t like the look of it and I would pronounce it like lyn-uh.

Not a fan of the “y” in the name so therefore I rate it a 2/10. [name_f]Lena[/name_f] or [name_f]Lina[/name_f] are stronger and less trendy names in my opinion.

4 - though [name_f]Lina[/name_f] would have scored higher

5 / 10 — Nice name, though not my style; I prefer Lina.

3/10. I intuitively pronounce it LYE-na. I do like [name_f]Lena[/name_f] and [name_f]Lina[/name_f].

I like the creativity but I would instinctively say (lye-nah). [name_f]Lena[/name_f] or even [name_f]Lina[/name_f] would be better

4/10 - I like the sound, but the spelling [name_f]Lena[/name_f] fits much better with the pronunciation.

I’d rate the sound 8/10. I’d rate the spelling 1/10 because I would guess the Y is pronounced any way than the way you want it to me. LIE-na would be my first guess, followed by LINN-a. LEE honestly wouldn’t occur to me. I’d think the spelling was specifically to avoid that pronunciation, in fact.

1/10. Lin-uh or line-uh pronunciation might have gotten higher, as would have [name_f]Lina[/name_f] or [name_f]Lena[/name_f], but it just doesn’t make any sense to me this way/feels trendy, I’m afraid! Not that it couldn’t be a totally useable and beautiful name if that’s what you love. That’s just my opinion. In the end, we can only name our own babies!

1/10.

Don’t like the look and the pronunciation you put doesn’t match the spelling.
Lie-nah or Lin-a are both what I thought when reading the name.
Lee-nuh to me is [name_f]Lina[/name_f] or [name_f]Leena[/name_f].

I don’t like how it looks so one.

[name_f]Lena[/name_f] I’d rate a 9/10 [name_f]Lyna[/name_f] a 2/10 unless this spelling holds special meaning to you (in which case significance trumps spelling). Otherwise I say it’d just add confusion and pronunciation issues. (I instinctively want to say lye-nuh then linn-uh would be my second guess, Lee-nuh doesn’t seem correct with this spelling)

[name_f]Lena[/name_f] would geht 10/10 ,I don’t really like that spelling,so 8/10

I love [name_f]Lena[/name_f], and [name_f]Layna[/name_f] looks more complete than [name_f]Lyna[/name_f] imo.

I would pronounce [name_f]Lyna[/name_f] like Line-na vs Lay-na.
