Lynnea, Leanna, Lynna?

Though we like the prounciation of [name_f]Leanna[/name_f] better, we really want a -y- in the name that start with l. Thoughts on these three names?

I like [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f]. There’s also a really adorable children’s book series about gardening with a girl named [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f].

If [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f] is pronounced like [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] - lyn-NAY-yah, then this is my favorite. I’ve never seen it spelled with a Y before. The NB database also has [name_f]Leyanna[/name_f], though it’s not very pretty looking.

If you really want an L name containing a Y, have you considered -
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] (this sounds similar to [name_f]Leanna[/name_f])
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f]
[name_f]Lainey[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Liberty[/name_f]/[name_f]Libby[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
Lorilynn
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Lynnette[/name_f]

Also forgot to include Lysandra. Lysandra - Meaning of Lysandra, What does Lysandra mean?

Of those three, I love [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f]/[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]. But I think [name_f]Lilya[/name_f] ([name_f]Lilia[/name_f]) might be something you would like better if you like [name_f]Leanna[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f]. Sadly I’m a big SG1 fan and they had a character dubbed [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f] destroyer of Worlds and now they are so fused together I couldn’t put it on my list.

I think I prefer [name_f]Leanna[/name_f], and if you really want a Y, I think Lyanna is a perfectly acceptable spelling (and recently popularized/become more familiar in pop culture due to the character Lyanna [name_m]Stark[/name_m] in Game of Thrones). [name_f]Leyanna[/name_f] or Layanna might be a little more out there as spelling variations, but still totally pronouncable!

I also do like [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f]. Not sure about [name_f]Lynna[/name_f], it’s not instinctual as to how to pronounce it.

I like [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f] the best, though I prefer the [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]Lynnea[/name_f] is really pretty. What about Lyanna?
