What are your thoughts on the name Lysandra? I really love [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], but I don’t think it goes well with my last name. Last name rhymes with Tosh and starts with G.
Lysandra is nice. I would suggest to use [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] no matter the surname, since that is nicer.
Lysandra is dreamily romantic and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] makes a perfect Nickname! 
Lysandra is lovely, although I prefer [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] on a boy. But I not only think [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] sounds fine with your surname, but I think it sounds pretty good. I’d stick with just [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], it’s such a great name!
I really don’t care for Lysandra but I really like [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] for you and in my opinion, it is fine with your last name. I would suggest a longer middle name to go with it.
Have you considered [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]? It’s quite similar to Lysandra and could carry all the same nicknames, but more classic.
I’m usually all for non-intutuitive nicknames, but [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] doesn’t work for me. I don’t even really like Lysandra enough to use. I wish Illyria wasn’t too out there! [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is my [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] combo so maybe [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] Illyria with a short second middle like [name_f]Fae[/name_f], [name_f]Hope[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_u]Sage[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], but if you prefer Lysandra that’s great too. Whatever you are more comfortable with would be the better choose, and you could always use [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] as a nickname
