I like [name]Madeleine[/name] best. It looks authentic to me. I think [name]Madeline[/name] is okay. I don’t like [name]Madelyn[/name] at all!

I voted for [name]Madeleine[/name], but it was a close call between [name]Madeleine[/name] and [name]Madeline[/name] for me. I think that both of them are lovely.

1 [name]Madeleine[/name] - “layn” - French beauty.
2 [name]Madeline[/name] - “line” - like the Bemelman’s children’s book character.
3 [name]Madelyn[/name] - “lyn” - unattractive modern invention. Unfortunately, this spelling seems to be the most popular at the moment (No# 79 in the US last year).

I would pronounce these names differently in respect to the spelling.

I agree with this. So if you’re going by sound, then [name]Madeleine[/name] is best for you, however I voted for my favorite which is [name]Madeline[/name] (with the -line sound)
