Madeline Clare?

What do you all think of [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Clare[/name]? Last name is Jasper, and nn will be Ella. Is it too stunted? Should a second middle be added to add flow?

I think it is beautiful! I am not keen on double middles - and I think [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Clare[/name] is perfect on it’s own.

I don’t like second middles either, and I think [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Clare[/name] sounds great! (And French, which adds to its greatness for me )

Beautiful. I’m a big fan of short and sweet middles, especially with a more elaborate first name like [name]Madeline[/name]. I think it sounds perfect as is.

Personally, I prefer [name]Madeleine[/name] (with the “len” ending) as opposed to [name]Madeline[/name] (“line” ending), but I do think [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Clare[/name] is pretty cute. [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Clare[/name] [name]Caspar[/name] is adorable.

I don’t think it’s missing anything. You can of course add a second middle if there’s a person you want to honor, or another name you love you want to include, etc. But I don’t see a hole in this name that needs filling

I think Madeleine is a really beautiful name and I think Ella is a stunning nn but Ella Jasper you are right doesn’t have the right flow.

Perhaps Lainy would be a better nn eg Lainy Jasper works well.

PS I nearly forgot to comment on Clare. First up if you are going to use it then I would definitely spell it as Claire as it has a much softer look and feel.
I wouldn’t use Claire though I think the elegant Madeleine needs a more sophisticated name eg Madeleine Sophia.

I think everyone has missed the point because there while there is nothing wrong with [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Clare[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] the name that she will be known by on a daily basis [name]Ella[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] imho does not flow well because of the ah sound on the end of each name. If her parents decided against [name]Madeline[/name] and instead decided on [name]Ella[/name]-[name]Clare[/name] (first name) then it would work well, eg [name]Ella[/name]-[name]Clare[/name] [name]Jasper[/name].
