[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_u]Madison[/name_u] for a boy? I think it could definitely work. It means son of [name_f]Maud[/name_f] too and for short you could call him Mad or [name_f]Maud[/name_f].

i like madison for a boy!! sonny would be my preferred nickname.
the only issue is that it’s sooo popular for girls it might be annoying to have to explain etc.

I dig [name_u]Madison[/name_u] for a boy, I’d probably go with [name_m]Mads[/name_m] over [name_f]Maud[/name_f] but meh whichever.

I like [name_u]Madison[/name_u] WAY better for a boy than a girl! It refreshes it a little bit- even though it started out as a masculine name.

[name_u]Madison[/name_u] was originally a boy’s name, so why not? It’s very popular for girl’s now but it was still originally incredibly popular for boys (up until the 50s iirc) so it’s definitely usable.

It’s not my favourite name in the world, but I definitely prefer it for a boy. It has a preppy, old school, unexpected charm. [name_m]Mads[/name_m] or [name_u]Sonny[/name_u] are both wonderful nicknames

Yes! Madison was almost exclusively a boys’ name until the 80s, when the movie Splash made the name a new love for girls. I think it’s just as fine on a boy.

As someone who has grown up knowing several female Madisons, it’s leans sightly feminine to me. However, I can totally picture it on a boy. A nickname like [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] or [name_m]Matt[/name_m] would help push is masculine too!

Yeah, [name_m]Matt[/name_m] or [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] would be great nicknames for it if it’s for a boy! I love [name_u]Addison[/name_u] for a girl btw, all the female Addison’s I’ve met have been lovely.
