Madlaina pronounciation?

Madlaina is a Swiss Romansh name that is not in the nameberry archive. Nonetheless I think it is quite pretty I’m just torn between pronounciations.
The way I believe it would be pronounced in the native Switzerland based off what I see online is (mad-LYE-nah).
However, in the US I instinctively say it as (mad-lain-ah) and I think I am not alone in this.
Is the pronounciation all that difficult? I forsee it as being a name that has to be corrected a lot but it is just so pretty and I love how it belongs to the Madeline -esque naming branch while being entirely unique.

Thoughts?

I’d pronounce this name mad-LAY-nuh rather than mad-uh-LAY-nuh because there is no letter between the d and the l.

Madlaina = mad-LAY-nuh
Madelaina/ Madalaina = mad-uh-LAY-nuh

I’m also in the US and don’t find these pronunciations difficult! I had to read the name twice to sound it out and make sure I was reading it right as I’ve never heard this name before, but I don’t confuse it with Madeline or Madelaine.

I’d pronounce it mad-lay-nuh on first glance

You’re right that’s my bad! I’m so used to seeing [name_f]Madalaina[/name_f] / Madalina / [name_f]Madalena[/name_f] that I included that “uh” sound even though the name completely doesn’t call for it!

So from my Google research this is what I gather:

Swiss pronounciation (mad-LYE-nuh)
the way I, an American, pronounces it (mad-LAYN-uh)

I would assume mad-LYE-na, but wouldn’t be surprised by mad-LAY-na or mad-lye-EE-na

(I’m in the US)
