Which is your favorite and why?

Maeve is my favorite! It feels spunky and sweet at the same time. The sound is so direct and clear to say.

Wow, it’s kind of a tie.

[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is to me gorgeous. I named our cat [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I love the double vowels and the V sound. [name_u]Strong[/name_u] and beautiful.

[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is more old-fashioned and is the middle name of my late great grandmother ([name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]!). I named my first home [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and also my dog [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] became [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] in honor of Grandma. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is a soft, comforting name.

[name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is unusual and zesty. I think of [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] Staples. I named my car [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] Lumiere.

So I’m no help at all! Except if I had to pick which one to be named myself, I would go for [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].

Maeve, because I feel like it works on every age much better than the other two (which are also sweet!).

Tamsin [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is a wonderful cat name!

I get the old-fashioned vibe from [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] too but I’ve noticed I love old-fashioned names - [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], etc.

And I first noticed the name [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] because of [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] Staples!!

Mavis. You can have the NN [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is too sweet for my liking. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] seems to be rising in popularity and on everyone’s lists. I also like the sound of [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] more.

  1. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] - It’s so sweet and dainty, but cheerful and spunky as well. The nicknames [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] are both really sweet, but you could even do Maby, [name_f]Mabs[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_u]Mel[/name_u], etc.
  2. [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] - This is so quirky-cute. It has a sweet and unique sound you don’t see often, and she could be [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] as a nickname!
  3. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - Definitely pretty, but increasingly trendy. Still love it but I think [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] ‘’[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]‘’ has more character

My favorite is [name_f]Mavis[/name_f]. I like that well still being simple, there is still an added layer of interest.

I love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. The meaning “she who intoxicates”, the sound ([name_f]Mae[/name_f] & [name_f]Eve[/name_f]), it’s not common and easily pronounced, it’s elegant with a spark :sparkles:

I like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] but it’s a little too ‘cool’ for my taste. I prefer vintage [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and retro [name_f]Mavis[/name_f].

Mabel is my favourite, it’s really sweet. I like [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] too.

Hmm this is a tough one because they’re all lovely.
I think, today, I would say [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] > [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] > [name_f]Mabel[/name_f].
I used to be “set” on [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], but it is very popular right now and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is feeling trendy. [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is spunky and cool. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Mavis[/name_f]:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

[name_f]Mavis[/name_f]! Underappreciated but so pretty! Vintage and just a little quirkier than the regal [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] (which I also love).

It’s hard to choose!

I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is probably my favorite. It’s just so sweet and classic and I like the look of it written out more than the others. I also like the nn [name_f]Mae[/name_f] for it.

Maeve is such a beautiful name. It’s a little dainty and fairy-like while still feeling really strong.

Mavis feels a little edgier than the others, more witchy than fairy-like, in a good way. It’s a very cool, underused, spunky name. I think I prefer the simplicity of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], though.

My favorite is definitely [name_f]Mavis[/name_f]! I love how quirky and spunky it sounds.

I prefer Mabel by far. I for some reason can’t get into Maeve, though I can see its appeal. And Mavis reminds me of an old ‘learn to type’ game challed Mavis Beacon and gives me teacher vibes. I also find the ‘vis’ ending leans more boy like Jarvis or Travis.
I

Maeve! Classic yet feels fresh and trendy. I love the vibes of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I’ve only ever met one [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] in my life.

I love all three but i think i like the warm, sweet [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] best - I enjoy the meaning and sound

Mabel is my favorite! There’s something very gentle and pleasant about it.

Mabel! [name_m]Can[/name_m] it be any cuter than naming your daughter lovable! And it sounds a little more complete to me for some reason.
