Having narrowed down our options and loving Maeve, I’m now pondering if I prefer Maeva.
Which do you prefer and why? Both names meanings have meaning to me so that’s not a dealbreaker.

I tend to like -a ending names but I think [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] feels more complete? [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe more direct? I’m not sure exactly how to describe it, but [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] wins for me.
How are you pronouncing [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] - like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] with an uh sound or the [name_u]French[/name_u] pronunciation?
Either way, I prefer the warm but snappy [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
Like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] with an uh on the end
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I don’t love maeva. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] josephine is pretty
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] my new niece’s name
I love [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] but pronounced “mah-eh-vah”
[name_f]Maeva[/name_f], definitely! It’s taken me a long time to see the appeal in [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], but I like lacy [name_f]Maeva[/name_f], and I say it like you do. It is more unexpected, and reminds me of [name_f]Ava[/name_f], which I also love! I know a little [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], it’s a fine name gaining a lot of attention… but my heart lies with [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] for sure! I would happily use it for my nana (whose middle name was Mae); her first name has a very similar meaning to [name_f]Maeva[/name_f], so I think it would be a perfect honor! I really love Maeva; I would love to see her popularity grow!
I prefer clean and clear [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. I think that [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] sounds a bit like a little [name_f]Ava[/name_f].
