I’m looking for good first names for magicians. Writing a novel. The names can be for either gendEr. I’m looking for names to fit my characters. I would like them to sound somewhat magical /fantasy like.

I tried to do more non-nature names since @-eagleeyes- gave you a lot of those.
The names that immediately come to mind for males are [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] (or Crowley for that matter), and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]. [name_m]Aloysius[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], and [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] might also interest you. For girls, the names [name_f]Circe[/name_f] and [name_u]Calypso[/name_u] are the first I think of. Other than that, you might consider [name_f]Delta[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], and [name_f]Helene[/name_f].
