Name her what she will be called. I like [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] because [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] reminds me too much of [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] Mouse. I would just use that the people I know with unobvious nicknames and they really don’t like them
I love [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]…as a nn for [name_f]Margot[/name_f] or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. It’s cute and fresh! (And [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_m]Williams[/name_m] is a wonderful actress)
I prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] over [name_f]Maisy[/name_f], as it’s more familiar and doesn’t feel like an attempt to be “the same but different” (like people who name their child [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] but spell it Abbygayle), if that makes sense. I tend to prefer -ie endings to -y ones though. It makes more sense as a nickname for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] to me; I don’t really understand nicknames that are longer than the actual names.
Definitely [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is a diminutive of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] over [name_f]Maisy[/name_f], but have a hard time deciding between [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], and [name_f]Maisey[/name_f]
I adore [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s so close to [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], I much prefer the look of the ie ending on [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] on her own, but if she does need to have a formal name, I would go with [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
