We don’t have the kitten picked out yet but we are hopefully getting one tomorrow and need some names ready! We already have girl ones picked out but are struggling to decide on a boy one.
We already have a girl cat named [name_f]Diana[/name_f] who we mostly call [name_f]Dani[/name_f]. We’re looking for a name that fits that vibe. She’s named after [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f], [name_m]Wonder[/name_m] Woman, a One Direction song (lol) and sort of [name_f]Daenerys[/name_f] Targaryen. So anything that connects to any of those things works well (:
Some of our current options
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] “Cas or Cassie”: Connected to [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] so it’s a “royal” name and also fantasy related. Also a boys name with a feminine nn which is fun bc we have a girl cat with a boyish nn
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] “Archie or Thor”: Feels soft and cute for a kitten but maybe too popular? [name_m]Thor[/name_m] is a fun superhero connection and there’s the [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] royalty connection as well
[name_m]Francis[/name_m] “Frank or [name_f]Fran[/name_f] or Frannie”: another fun feminine nn option, fits the vibe of [name_f]Diana[/name_f] I think but just not sure it’s my fave
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] “Atty or Kit”: love this name and the nn but is Kit/Kitty too on the nose for a cat?
[name_m]Ernest[/name_m] “Ernie”: I really like this one but my brother doesn’t like that it reminds him of [name_m]Bert[/name_m] and [name_m]Ernie[/name_m]
[name_m]Alastor[/name_m] “Ally”: again, is [name_f]Ally[/name_f] cat too on the nose? I do like the feminine nn option and I think [name_m]Alastor[/name_m] fits the vibe of like a sort of pretentious fancy name for a cat like [name_f]Diana[/name_f] does
Let me know your thoughts on these as well as any suggestions you have! And I’ll try and update once we know what he looks like lol
