We’ve been thinking of naming our third child [name]Marcus[/name], and calling him [name]Max[/name]. ([name]Long[/name] story, lol, I’ve told all about it in previous posts if you are interested). We don’t like [name]Mark[/name], or [name]Marc[/name]. Coming up with a middle name, we’ve thought of:
[name]Marcus[/name] [name]Owen[/name]
[name]Marcus[/name] [name]Logan[/name] ([name]Logan[/name] was the original name we had picked for him) [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Tanner[/name]
and now,
[name]Marcus[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] – with this one, [name]Max[/name] as a nickname makes the most sense. But is it too Greek/[name]Roman[/name] era? I think I like this one the best.
Siblings names are [name]Lily[/name] [name]Danielle[/name] and [name]Jackson[/name] [name]Walker[/name].
I like [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Owen[/name] the best from your list. [name]Marcus[/name] is a strong enough name and the more gentle sounding [name]Owen[/name] is a good pairing. [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] is ok but a little too “strong” for my taste! Plus the pronounced “cus” sound in [name]Marcus[/name] and the “x” in [name]Alexander[/name] don’t flow as well as [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Owen[/name]. Regards, [name]Mischa[/name].
I love [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] (though I love [name]Roman[/name] names in general) and I really don’t think it’s too much. I like it the best of your choices, it’s definitely the most classic.
I actually really like [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]. It does feel a little [name]Roman[/name], but I wouldn’t have automatically thought that before you mentioned it. So I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.
Another idea for a middle name is [name]Oliver[/name]. I think [name]Marcus[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] flows pretty well, and doesn’t sound too [name]Roman[/name].
Good luck!
