Marcy needs a full name

[name]Every[/name] time I listen to [name]Jackson[/name] C. [name]Frank[/name]'s “[name]Marcy[/name]'s Song,” I’m inspired again to figure out a way to use [name]Marcy[/name]. I want any possible name you think I could use [name]Marcy[/name] as a nn for.

Throw em at me!

[name]Marcelle[/name]
[name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Marisa[/name]
[name]Marsella[/name]
[name]Martha[/name]
are the most intuitive to me

I have an older cousin named [name]Marcy[/name] [name]Anne[/name]. I’ve always loved her name just the way it is. Some other suggestions might be

[name]Marcina[/name]
[name]Marcella[/name]
[name]Marcia[/name]
[name]Marciana[/name]
[name]Marcheline[/name]

They’re all very beautiful!

I love [name]Marcela[/name]/[name]Marcella[/name] and [name]Marcellina[/name] is another variant I believe?
[name]How[/name] about:
Marcenia
[name]Marcena[/name]
[name]Marcita[/name]

But any name beginning with [name]Mar[/name]- I think could work. Good luck!

Thanks! I might have had a stroke of genius… My best friend of 12 years name is [name]Martha[/name], which I would love to use to honor her. I am thinking possibly [name]Christine[/name] as a middle, (a nod to one of my favorite books by [name]Gaston[/name] Leroux.) So [name]Martha[/name] [name]Christine[/name], “[name]Marcy[/name].”

I also really like Marchelline, but would like to know more about its history. It sounds very French, which we probably couldn’t pull off since there is no French ancestry in our family tree.

[name]Martha[/name] [name]Christine[/name], nn [name]Marcy[/name] is a GREAT idea

I was thinking [name]Mercedes[/name] or Marcedes. I had a woman from Mexico with this name who went by [name]Marce[/name] (pronounced [name]Marcy[/name]).

[name]Marcelina[/name]? (I don’t even know if thats a real name, but it sounds pretty to me…lol!)
