I love Margot!! She’s so sweet! I’d have to go with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] for simplicity

I think both are SO great. But I prefer the simplicity of [name_f]Margot[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] because it seems more chic, but I could imagine that people would struggle with pronunciation/spelling at times. On the contrary to [name_f]Margot[/name_f] the risk of people pronouncing the name Mar-GOT (instead of GO) is eliminated though.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Margot[/name_f] might be a more practical spelling and I don’t think it takes away from the name’s charm at all. So if I had to decide, I think I’d go with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] if you don’t live in a French-speaking country.

gonna go against the trend and say I prefer [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] by a mile! [name_f]Margot[/name_f] has always reminded me too much of “maggot”. ive also never met one, despite it being the most popular spelling (but ive met 1 [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] and at least 4 Margos)

Both are lovely and I see the appeal in both but I personally prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as this spelling feels more intuitive to me.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]! I feel like if you didn’t speak [name_f]French[/name_f], this name would be difficult, especially with children (I used to have a [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] in my elementary, and I remember being completely confused about how to pronounce it.) [name_f]Margot[/name_f] also just looks more intuitive to write than [name_f]Margaux[/name_f].

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]. More timeless, less of a place name.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f]. It is more concise and understandable. In the UK we had a sitcom called The Good Life with a character called [name_f]Margot[/name_f] in it. She was posh, but her heart was in the right place. I have loved the name ever since
