Please comment on each, say your favourite spelling and why. Also, I really like the combo [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Margo[/name]/[name]Margot[/name]/[name]Margaux[/name]. What do you think? Does it go? Does the spelling make a difference in the name?
1 [name]Margot[/name] - I like this French spelling - itâs sophisticated and elegant. It looks the most complete.
2 [name]Margo[/name] - Iâm not crazy about this but itâs better than [name]Margaux[/name].
3 [name]Margaux[/name] - faux-French and the name of a wine brand called Chateau [name]Margaux[/name].
In order of preference:
[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Margot[/name] - just right!
[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Margo[/name] - ok
[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Margaux[/name] - over-the-top
[name]Margot[/name] is the true French spelling and my favorite. Margeaux is pretty, but a âfakeâ spelling. [name]Margo[/name] seems incomplete to me and not as sophisticated.
[name]Margot[/name]- I love this spelling
[name]Margo[/name]- is nice enough
[name]Margaux[/name]- feels try-hard to me. The least down-to-earth of the three imo.
[name]Margot[/name] is my favorite! [name]Margo[/name] looks incomplete, [name]Margot[/name] looks classy and quirky, [name]Margaux[/name] looks kind of strippery. [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Margot[/name] is kind of heavy on the ârâ sounds, but I still like it!
[name]Margot[/name] is the best. [name]Margaux[/name] looks like a headache, while [name]Margo[/name] feels incomplete. [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Margot[/name] is absolutely stunning.
I like [name]Margaux[/name] but I fear itâs not very Pronounceable. [name]Margot[/name] is my choice because its a little different but not too exotic.
I kind of agree with most everyone. I like [name]Margot[/name] best. [name]Margo[/name] would be second, but seems incomplete. I am not a fan of the last spelling.
Of the 3 names [name]Margaux[/name] is the most popular in [name]France[/name] â calling it a âfakeâ spelling is a bit harshâŚ
The âxâ spelling is my favourite, but I think [name]Margot[/name] is probably the simplest and easiest to work with. That being said, I think the names sound awful in English ([name]MAR[/name]-gow rather than marh-GO).
[name]Margot[/name] is a winner definitely! I love that. [name]Margo[/name] doesnât feel complete. Without the âtâ at the end my mind immediately thinks of the film â[name]Argo[/name].â
[name]Margaux[/name] is setting your child up for spelling errors and mispronunciation. It also takes away from the beauty of the name and doesnât look as pretty written down. [name]Margot[/name] is the way to go, no doubt.
If youâre still unsure about it⌠I also love [name]Amargot[/name] which is Latin and means âeverlasting.â
