I think it’s really pretty with the marr-ih-bell pronunciation! I don’t love the mair-uh-bell pronunciation

This is the name of a friend’s mom. [name_f]My[/name_f] instinct is the mARR-ih-bel pronunciation, but my friend’s mom uses the Spanish pronunciation, MAW-DEE-bel (tapped ‘r’). I like both pronunciations equally.

This name is beautiful! It’s a combo of [name_u]Maria[/name_u] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and very popular in the Spanish-speaking world, but also in [name_f]Italy[/name_f]. As someone from there, I love it very much.
