We are very proud to announce the birth of our daughter, [name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. She was born on the first day of spring, [name_u]March[/name_u] 20, 2015. Her big brother (22 months), [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], is so excited to finally have his little sister out of mama’s belly and in the world. We are blessed.
We chose the name [name_f]Marina[/name_f] because of its Latin meaning, “from the sea.” My husband & I have deep personal love for the sea. We also love the name because it is a common in Italian & Russian (pieces of our heritage) but not too common here in the United States.
We chose the middle name [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as a nod to the [name_f]Grace[/name_f] that God has given our family over the past nine months – from a miscarriage scare for me, to a traumatic injury for my husband. We have been through it all and welcoming our sweet girl is the greatest gift of [name_f]Grace[/name_f] that we could imagine.
Congratulations! I absolutely love [name_f]Marina[/name_f] with [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and how they both work in English, Russian and Italian. Great job!
