Marlow for a boy?

I think it could definitely work, it reminds me of [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] and [name_u]Milo[/name_u]. I personally prefer it for a girl but it’s usable!

I know a girl [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] but [name_u]Marlow[/name_u] makes me think of [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_u]Marlow[/name_u] from Heart of Darkness so this spelling feels more masculine to me!

I know a boy [name_u]Marlow[/name_u] and it’s perfect on him. I find it to be much more fitting on a boy! I think it goes wonderfully with your sibset.

that is amazing!!! Wow I love his name! Have you ran into anyone saying it’s a “girl” name? Are you in the US?

As for me, I don’t personally feel anything towards the name at all, no matter whether it’s on a girl or a boy. It’s just a surname for me- I know someone with the surname [name_u]Marlow[/name_u]. Although, [name_u]Mars[/name_u] is a very cute surname, as someone commented before.

If you love it, I don’t think it’s too widely feminine to be unuseable on a boy

I see it as a unisex name and think it would be fine with [name_u]Asa[/name_u], [name_u]Jasper[/name_u], and [name_m]Rueben[/name_m]! It’s a bit more modern, but I think it has all the right sounds and definitely don’t see it as too feminine, especially with brother [name_u]Asa[/name_u].

I recently read a story with a supporting character named [name_u]Marlow[/name_u] who was a teenage boy.

I know it’s considered a unisex name, but I do prefer it on a boy.
