I voted for [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]…I just love that name! [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is cute, but I think [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is a little more substantial. Plus, I like the nickname options for [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]…and I think [name_f]Lola[/name_f] could even be one of them!

I voted for [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] because [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is too nicknamey for me (it could work for [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]). They’re very different stylistically. Maybe try imagining future sibling names to figure out which name would be more your family’s style?

Came to say the same thing @justlikeflorida said.

[name_u]Marlow[/name_u] sounds like a strong name, and to me [name_f]Lola[/name_f] has always sounded more like a nickname… in fact, it is originally a nickname. And as a nickname it is usable for [name_u]Marlow[/name_u]. You have the chance to have your cake and eat it too.

I like them both. I voted [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] because you get the best of both worlds as you can use [name_f]Lola[/name_f] as a nn.

Definitely [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. It’s a short and sweet name with plenty of energy and a bright, light feel. I seem to be one of the few who only likes [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] for a boy.
