I can’t decide between these two! Help! What one do you like more?
[name_m]Both[/name_m] are lovely, but I prefer [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. Actually, I don’t know if you’ve decided on a middle name or not, but [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] would be an absolutely amazing combination!
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] for sure! I think it’s sweet and classy at the same time. I don’t understand the appeal of [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] (or [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] or [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]), just not my favorite sound.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]! It’s gorgeous, and [name_f]Coco[/name_f] is an adorable nickname. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] is masculine to me, I personally like [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] a lot better.
If this is your first child, think about what style makes me feel happy and comfortable because often what you name your firstborn determines what the style will be for any future children. If you like a more unisex style and love many names that would be defined as unsex, then go with [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. If you like feminine names, choose [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. Personally, with these two choices, although I’m not a huge fan of gender neutral names as a rule, I prefer the stronger sound of [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] to the more frou-frou [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. There are much better [name_m]French[/name_m] names than [name_f]Colette[/name_f] in my opinion.
I prefer [name_f]Colette[/name_f], [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] (although I know it is getting more popular) seems too much like a surname to me.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]! It is sweet yet elegant. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] seems very trendy in the [name_f]Harlow[/name_f], [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u] kind of way. [name_f]Colette[/name_f] is gorgeous!
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] is very pretty and classic and elegant. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] seems quite trendy and I think the ‘lowe’ part looks a bit strange. [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] [name_f]Colette[/name_f] does sound nice though
If it were between [name_f]Marlo[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f], I would choose [name_f]Marlo[/name_f] in a heartbeat, hands down.
Between [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f], I choose [name_f]Colette[/name_f]. Easy choice.
I don’t like the spelling [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] at all.
