Martha?

[name_f]Martha[/name_f] popped into my head out of the blue and I think it would be just adorable and somehow very fresh on a little girl (even though I kind of find the name a bit stuffy).

What do you think of [name_f]Martha[/name_f]? Ready for a comeback?

Any nickname and/or middle name ideas to make it fresh and spunky?

[name_f]Martha[/name_f] is in my top 5! I love it so much, it sounds so cute and makes me think of a sweet little girl with blond curls! [name_f]My[/name_f] combo is [name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] x

I have posted this before, but I really wish I liked [name_f]Martha[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] grandmother’s name. However, I just find it very old fashioned and not in a vintage way. I have met a few little [name_f]Martha[/name_f]'s and I just felt sorry for them.

I knew a girl named [name_f]Martha[/name_f] in high school. She was a very smart, nice person. But, she hated her name because she couldn’t get a nickname out of it (and I don’t think she had a middle name). She now goes by [name_f]Mae[/name_f] instead.

I love it! I’ve met one 30 year old [name_f]Marta[/name_f] and one 5 year old [name_f]Marta[/name_f] but never an actual [name_f]Martha[/name_f]. It’s a vintage name and at the same time it isn’t an old lady name. It’s a shame there aren’t that many little Marthas.

I love [name_f]Martha[/name_f]. It’s slowly growing in popularity as I have heard a few newborns being blessed with the name [name_f]Martha[/name_f] in my area.

Hopefully with this new lease of interest, she will lose that ‘haughty housemaid’ reputation that the older generation relate to her.

I’ve loved [name_f]Martha[/name_f] for like 6 years now! I personally know a high schooler named [name_f]Martha[/name_f], and she likes her name a lot, she’s never [name_f]Martha[/name_f] A. because she the only one. As for nick names here are a few I’ve heard:
[name_f]Marth[/name_f]- obvious, but feels old
[name_u]Marty[/name_u]- I’m not a fan, but some are
[name_u]Matty[/name_u]- I just recently heard this nn for [name_f]Martha[/name_f], it’s cute, but could be misspelled often.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] those help!

[name_f]My[/name_f] college roommate was [name_f]Martha[/name_f] (~5 years ago)! She was very sporty and a little quirky, with dark hair.

[name_f]Martha[/name_f]'s one of my top names for a girl - I adore it! If I met a little [name_f]Martha[/name_f], I would be soooooo happy!
