Masculine or gender neutral full names for the nickname "Bell"?

I am helping someone rename themself (I have been given permission to post this), and I am unfortunately not very good with masculine names, and gender neutral names that shorten to “Bell” seem hard to find. :slightly_frowning_face: Their nickname would be “Bell”, but they cannot see themself as a [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]. [name_m]Ashbel[/name_m] is being considered at the moment, but they aren’t sure it’s a perfect fit. Are there any other plausible ways to get to “Bell” from a masculine or gender neutral name ? Thanks in advance for any replies I may receive on their behalf ! :blush:

There’s literary [name_m]Bensiabel[/name_m]?

[name_u]Bela[/name_u] (so many different origins and PN’s!)
[name_u]Rebel[/name_u]

[name_u]Fable[/name_u] (love this one! As a last name it’s spelt Fabel)

I think any variant of [name_u]William[/name_u] could give the nn [name_u]Bell[/name_u]. If culturally appropriate, there are many African names that contain the ‘bel’ sound as well.
