Masculine Version of Adelia?

My husband and I are preparing to welcome our second child at the end of June. We’re team green and can’t agree on a boy name. We both like the idea of using a family name (our first son is a third), but we both have horrible male names in our family. If it’s a girl, we’re thinking of Adelia Jean, after my great-grandmother and my mom. I love how the name feels classic but still has lots of cute possible nicknames. I’ve tried thinking of boy names that are close to Adelia, but all I can think of is Adolf. Does anyone know of boy names with a similar feel? If it helps, we will probably use the middle name Lloyd (after my grandpa).

Thanks!

My first thought is Edel, the German word for “noble”, which is where the name Adelia comes from. You could also spell it Adel to have a closer connection.

The first things that came to mind for me were [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] and [name_u]Adel[/name_u]! Also thinking [name_u]Dean[/name_u], [name_u]Dell[/name_u], [name_u]Dill[/name_u], [name_u]Alden[/name_u], and [name_u]Adler[/name_u] are great!!
