[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries,
i’m due with quads soon and one is a boy, we’re considering [name_m]Matteo[/name_m], nn [name_m]Matt[/name_m] or [name_u]Theo[/name_u], which one flows better and does [name_u]Theo[/name_u] even work? thanks
I like [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] “Teo” which I would pronounce TAY-oh. [name_m]Matt[/name_m] is cute but a bit dated, and for me [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is a stretch (I’m saying it THEE-oh.) [name_m]Teo[/name_m] is most instinctive, and super sweet!
I agree about using [name_m]Teo[/name_m]! I know a family that recently named a baby [name_m]Mateo[/name_m] (one T because they chose the traditional Spanish spelling), and they call him [name_m]Teo[/name_m] a lot of the time. I think it’s super cute!
[name_m]Matteo[/name_m] is great! I pronunce [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_m]Teo[/name_m] both as TEH-o so I suppose it can work but I would use [name_m]Teo[/name_m] for [name_m]Matteo[/name_m].
I love the name [name_m]Matteo[/name_m]!
I can’t tell you which nickname “flows” better without knowing the baby’s middle name or last name. I agree with the others here that [name_m]Teo[/name_m] would be a good nickname. I think [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is a better nickname than [name_m]Matt[/name_m].
