I think [name_u]Max[/name_u] is a fine stand-alone name. I have two friends with sons named [name_u]Max[/name_u].
I think [name_u]Max[/name_u] can easily stand on it’s own, but has she thought about any other full names for [name_u]Max[/name_u]? What about [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], [name_m]Maxon[/name_m], [name_m]Maxton[/name_m] or [name_m]Maxim[/name_m]?
I thought of those options too but she doesn’t like [name_m]Maximus[/name_m]. And [name_m]Maxton[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxon[/name_m] sound made up to her. [name_m]Maxim[/name_m] is a men’s magazine so that is out…
I like [name_u]Max[/name_u] a lot better than any of the names that start with [name_u]Max[/name_u]. It’s a fine name.
I like [name_u]Max[/name_u] best on its own.
[name_u]Max[/name_u] can stand perfectly well by itself. I really do not like the longer versions.
I definitely think [name_u]Max[/name_u] can stand on his own well. It’s not only nickname material in my book.
[name_u]Max[/name_u] is both a standalone name and a nickname. It’s too short for me personally, but I think it’s fine. I think [name_u]Max[/name_u] could work as a nickname for most [name_m]Mac[/name_m]/Mas/Mak names. What about [name_m]Maximo[/name_m], [name_m]Massimo[/name_m], [name_m]Maximino[/name_m], [name_m]Maksim[/name_m], [name_m]Macario[/name_m], [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] or Makarios?
It’s a bit of a stretch, but I think [name_u]Max[/name_u] could also work for [name_m]Matthias[/name_m].
[name_u]Max[/name_u] works fine as a stand-alone name.
There’s also [name_m]Maxen[/name_m]/[name_m]Macsen[/name_m] (Welsh) and [name_m]Maxence[/name_m] ([name_m]French[/name_m]).
I prefer it as a full name, but I think it could work just fine by itself.
Know that you do have other [name_u]Max[/name_u] options beyond the ones you mentioned, though: [name_m]Maxim[/name_m], [name_m]Maxon[/name_m]/Maxson, [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], [name_m]Maximo[/name_m], [name_m]Maxen[/name_m], Maxel, [name_m]Maxton[/name_m]…
[name_u]Max[/name_u] is perfectly fine as a standalone name. Actually, I tend to prefer it as a given name than as a nickname.
[name_f]My[/name_f] son is [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]. I really didn’t like [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], [name_m]Maximillian[/name_m] or [name_m]Maximus[/name_m]. [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] fits him to a T.
[name_f]My[/name_f] son is named [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], nn [name_u]Max[/name_u], but I’d still consider [name_u]Max[/name_u] a proper name. Either seems fine!
I am naming my new son [name_u]Max[/name_u] when he arrives in [name_f]October[/name_f] and only [name_u]Max[/name_u] since [name_u]Max[/name_u] is what we want to call him that’s going to be his name I have a son [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] which we named just [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] not [name_m]Charles[/name_m] for the same reason!! So I definitely think [name_u]Max[/name_u] is a stand alone name and an awesome name as well:))
[name_u]Max[/name_u] on it’s own makes me think of a dog. I prefer [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] but if she doesn’t like it that’s her choice. =]
