I voted [name]Maximilian[/name] but it depends on surname. If you have a short name [name]Maximilian[/name] is very nice, but with a longer name [name]Maxwell[/name] is better. I do like both and it was hard to decide.

I know a Maxon so that is another idea. [name]Maxim[/name] sadly is too caught up in the men’s magazine (considered by some as “soft core”) for my taste. I prefer [name]Maximillian[/name] but agree that the length of your last name would be key. Good luck!

It heavily depends on the surname he would have.

[name]Maxwell[/name] is more accessible, hence it being more common/familiar. [name]Maximillian[/name] has the potential to sound pretentious, depending on the crowd (and, again, surname in question).

I personally love the name [name]Maximus[/name] but most people associate it too much with the movie Gladiator. I really wouldn’t care though because I like the name. I voted for [name]Maximilian[/name]. I just like it better than [name]Maxwell[/name]. [name]Both[/name] are great names though.

[name]Maximilian[/name] is so outrageous. You’d have to be absolutely certain that your little boy could pull it off, which is difficult to know antenatally.

Where I live, [name]Maxim[/name] isn’t that uncommon and I kind of prefer it to [name]Maxwell[/name] and [name]Maximilian[/name]. I also prefer [name]Maximus[/name].

I have a serious weakness for [name]Maximilian[/name]. It is such a big, unapologetic name. It means ‘greatest’ and has lots of history behind it. I think most Maximilians these days opt for [name]Max[/name] day-to-day (as do most Maxwells). But I think [name]Maximilian[/name] is a much grander, more impressive name to have up your sleeve.
