I once knew a horrible girl named Maylin, so I really don’t like it. I do like [name]Malin[/name] though. The spelling Maelin is okay too.
I never heard of it but I think it’s sweet. I like some spellings. I like Maylin and Maelyn. But know en ending.
The it reminds me of [name]Marlen[/name].
If you can’t use [name]Malin[/name] then the spellings that look ok are Maelyn and Maelin.
I know a girl named Maylynn. I really like this name. My favorite spelling of the ones you listed is probably Maylin, Maelyn, or Maylen.
My favorite spelling is [name]Malin[/name], but of the ones on your list, Maelin.
Maelyn used to be my absolute favorite girls name for years!
love your signature names I know a woman by [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Winters[/name] lol
I knew a girl named Maylin… I’m really not a fan. It just sounds very made-up to me, and forgettable as it sounds much like [name]Maren[/name], [name]Marilyn[/name], [name]Marlen[/name], etc.
I like Maelyn although I could be biased because that is my name. But Maylin is also nice.
I’m an advocate of “if you live it, go for it”. I’ve seen it spelled Malan, which if [name]Malin[/name] isn’t an option, I like this. Spelling anything -[name]Lynn[/name] “cheapens” it for me, if that makes sense.
I’d pronounce [name]Malin[/name] Mahlin at first glance.
I like Maylin and Maelin. Mailen makes me think of Mailing.
I like it. I remember hearing someone mention the name while I was an intern at an organization a couple years ago. I assumed it was [name]Mei[/name]-[name]Lin[/name], and that she was Chinese, but it could have been Maylin/Maelyn. I do like the [name]Mei[/name]-[name]Lin[/name] spelling best, though, just because that’s what I’m used to thinking when I hear [name]MAY[/name]-lin, but the other spellings are nice. I like [name]Malin[/name], too, but I’ve always thought that was [name]MAL[/name] (like the beginning of [name]Mallory[/name]) in.
I’ve never thought much about this name to be honest. Except for when I was researching my family tree. I came across several male Maylin’s/Mailin’s, which I thought was an unusual name for a male. From other searches, the name Maylin/Mailin seems to be quite prevalent in males in the late 1800’s - early 1900’s.
Mentions of Maylin/Mailin in my family tree:
Mailin (born 1864)
[name]Clarence[/name] Maylin (born 1901)
Maylin [name]Bertram[/name] (born 1912)
Maylin [name]George[/name] (born 1904)
Maylin [name]James[/name] (born 1865)
Maylin [name]John[/name] (1837)
[name]Stanley[/name] [name]Edwin[/name] Maylin (born 1900)
It sounds like mailin’ to me – like, “I’m mailin’ that letter!” NMS.
