When I was younger I read a book and the main characters name was Markail. I have aways liked it. Has anyone ever heard of it? Does anyone know what the origin of the name is and what it means? Thank you!
I think Markail is an invented name, and a masculine one. It seems like a riff on the “marc/mark/marq” name element, along the line of [name_m]Marquise[/name_m].
