[name_f]Duchess[/name_f] of Sussex is what comes to mind, although logically I know it’s traditionally a Welsh name.

My best friend had a best friend originally called [name_f]Megan[/name_f] before me, and that friend wasn’t that great. So that’s my first association, but besides that, going purely off vibes [name_f]Megan[/name_f] gives like … Sk8er [name_m]Boi[/name_m] by [name_f]Avril[/name_f] Lavigne, backwards baseball caps, muddy blue jeans, and bubblegum vibes to me.

For me I think [name_f]Megan[/name_f] feels homespun, cosy and has pretty springtime energy. I can envision [name_f]Megan[/name_f] living on a farm in valleys (Wales) running alongside her border collie laughing whilst the dog rounds up sheep. [name_f]Megan[/name_f] has freckles loves wearing yellow and finds her nearest town to busy preferring the countryside and the company of her animals.

[name_f]Megan[/name_f] is Welsh, so that’s what I see: Welsh villages, the sea, [name_m]Snowden[/name_m], green valleys.

I immediately think of the horror movie. I doubt that would come first for most people though.

I see a white girl with straight brown hair and blue jeans. She’s unassuming, lower to middle class, most likely from a small town. I find [name_f]Megan[/name_f] a bit plain and boring, probably because it’s sooo common with my age group!

[name_f]Megan[/name_f] gives me kind of cosy-but-tough vibes – and reminds me of the character in But I’m a Cheerleader

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Megan[/name_f]! Also a big fan of the [name_f]Meghan[/name_f] spelling.
It was pretty popular in my area growing up so my main associations are the handful of girls I knew in school called [name_f]Megan[/name_f].

Generally the vibes to me are sweet, gentle, bubbly. And [name_f]Meg[/name_f] as the nickname adds a sassy, quirky, cosy, vintage feel. [name_m]Sky[/name_m] blue, spring green, butter yellow, white.

I think of that silly movie with the robot doll. But that’s only because I’ve just seen it recently

[name_f]Megan[/name_f] is a lovely, timeless Welsh name but unfortunately I can’t help but think of the [name_f]Megan[/name_f] horror film (which is absolutely mental, I realize, given Megan’s popularity and also how little my opinion of [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] was swayed by the [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] film!). [name_f]Meg[/name_f] is delightful and makes me think of [name_m]Little[/name_m] Women though. I also see lots of pink with the name and love the associations you have with it! I wish mine were the same!
