I’ll list some my favorite ‘What?!’-names, and would like to hear your thoughts on them
Girls-
Thomaziina Toyota [name_f]Amina[/name_f] (I do like [name_f]Thomasina[/name_f] though)
Lynnix [name_u]Ivory[/name_u] [name_f]Star[/name_f]
Syrender [name_f]Ann[/name_f]
Airuhbella [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] (I don’t like them together on the same child)
Bostin [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Sylver[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
Boys-
Kyzer [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] ([name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] would have been prefered)
I do have to say that there are loads of amazing names on there as well, such as [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_u]Clair[/name_u], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
[name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to go through the list yourself and to share your favorites and least favorites here with us.
I went to look at the full list, and I think what I’m most surprised about is all the crazily-spelled first names with classic middles. Airuhbella [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] instead of Lorraiyne? Syrender [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and not Ainne? [name_u]Sylver[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] over [name_f]Sofya[/name_f]? I don’t understand the thought process at all: “I’ll make my baby’s first name unique on paper, even though it will still be pronounced the same, but hardly anyone sees the middle name, they only hear it sometimes, so I’ll just spell it the normal way.”
And this is the real world unfortunately.
These names are in keeping with names I am seeing everyday working in a children’s hospital. Some of them make my eyes hurt.
joesiff, oasis, surrender and Wesson are so painful.
Why are there names of babies that aren’t born yet on there? Is that like expected arrivals or something? Anyway, I have to agree that the spelling of the names are horrible. They made me twitch a little bit. lol
