Mercy Medical Center Birth Announcements

So, I’ve been browsing the birth announcements of MMC (http://mercyrose.netreturns.biz/Nursery/SearchResults.aspx) and I’d like to share some names I found with you guys.

I’ll list some my favorite ‘What?!’-names, and would like to hear your thoughts on them

Girls-
Thomaziina Toyota [name_f]Amina[/name_f] (I do like [name_f]Thomasina[/name_f] though)
Lynnix [name_u]Ivory[/name_u] [name_f]Star[/name_f]
Syrender [name_f]Ann[/name_f]
Airuhbella [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] (I don’t like them together on the same child)
Bostin [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Sylver[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]

Boys-
Kyzer [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] ([name_m]Kaiser[/name_m] would have been prefered)

I do have to say that there are loads of amazing names on there as well, such as [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_u]Clair[/name_u], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

[name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to go through the list yourself and to share your favorites and least favorites here with us.

Airuhbella is hideous.

I went to look at the full list, and I think what I’m most surprised about is all the crazily-spelled first names with classic middles. Airuhbella [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] instead of Lorraiyne? Syrender [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and not Ainne? [name_u]Sylver[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] over [name_f]Sofya[/name_f]? I don’t understand the thought process at all: “I’ll make my baby’s first name unique on paper, even though it will still be pronounced the same, but hardly anyone sees the middle name, they only hear it sometimes, so I’ll just spell it the normal way.”

That is why this site needs an RT button!

Some of those names are listed in the future???

OMG everyone of these are HORRIBLE [name_f]IMO[/name_f]:

Syrender [name_f]Ann[/name_f]
Airuhbella [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]
[name_u]Ayden[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] Espi (the 1st 2 are ok - should have left off Espi)
Kyzer [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
Saraphyna [name_f]Denise[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_m]Rieley[/name_m]
RaeyLynn [name_f]Francine[/name_f]
Brodiey [name_m]Albert[/name_m]
[name_u]Hero[/name_u] [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] Escher
[name_u]Lexus[/name_u] Allahna
[name_m]Mikeal[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
Issak [name_m]Allen[/name_m]
Redek [name_u]James[/name_u]
Joesiff [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
Paisyn [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
Wesson [name_u]Lane[/name_u]
Oasis [name_u]Jae[/name_u]

And this is the real world unfortunately.
These names are in keeping with names I am seeing everyday working in a children’s hospital. Some of them make my eyes hurt.

joesiff, oasis, surrender and Wesson are so painful.

Why are there names of babies that aren’t born yet on there? Is that like expected arrivals or something? Anyway, I have to agree that the spelling of the names are horrible. They made me twitch a little bit. lol

[b]From that list, I like:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (classic, beautiful choice)
[name_f]Mollie[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] (classic)
[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Gail[/name_f] (another classic)
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jewel[/name_f] ([name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is kind of overused, but it’s so pretty!)
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] (classic)
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (classic)
[name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] [name_f]LeeAnn[/name_f] (not classic at all, though very nice)

[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] (original)
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] (timeless)
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] (classic and beautiful)
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Carol[/name_f] (absolutely refreshing)
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] (timeless)
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (nice)
[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]-[name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] (kind of long, though nice)
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (classic, beautiful, timeless)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (another classic)

A lot of names from that list make my eyes BLEED. I hate kr8iv spellings. Fortunately, kr8iv spellings aren’t that common here in Chile.
