Hey all! I’ve been reworking my top ten list for baby names, and have come up with a few combos that I’m not sure about, as well as a few names that I simply cannot think of a combo for. I’m looking for single middle name combos, as my boyfriend is dead set against using two middles.
My top ten girls names that I can realistically see my boyfriend and I using are:
Combos:
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] or [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] - I was looking for a middle name for [name_f]Antonia[/name_f], and though [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] usually isn’t my style, I really like it when paired with [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]. I prefer the combo [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Antonia[/name_f], though I prefer [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] as a first name. This one might not be all that long lasting on my top list, but right now I’m really digging it.
[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] - This is another combo where I much prefer the middle name to the first, but I just fell in love with this combo. I think that it is very sweet sounding name.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Stella[/name_f], but I’m a little unsure about how I feel about [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. I like the combo together though. Should I stick with [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]?
[name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_u]Blaire[/name_u] or [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] - I really like the way [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] [name_u]Blaire[/name_u] sounds, but I’m not a big fan of [name_u]Blaire[/name_u]. [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] isn’t my favorite name either, but it does have a significant family connection for my boyfriend (it was his great-grandmother’s maiden name) so that makes it a little more beautiful in my opinion.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]October[/name_f] - This is not a name that I would probably ever have the guts to use, and my boyfriend would hate it, but I stumbled upon it while messing with names earlier, and I just fell in love with it. [name_f]October[/name_f] is a big guilty pleasure for me, and I have such trouble finding combos that I like with the name [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. Any suggestions of alternate middle names would be welcome, as [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]October[/name_f] isn’t really a serious consideration.
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] - [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is the suggestion of my boyfriend (one of the only times he’s ever actually given a suggestion rather than shooting all of mine down hahah). It was the middle name of his grandfather, and he thinks it would be a cute way to honor him. I agree, and it’s much better than having to find a way to honor his first name ([name_u]Norris[/name_u]!!) Other than that, I have [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] mostly because of its nickname potential. [name_f]Davina[/name_f] doesn’t have much in the way of nicknames, and I thought having a middle name with a few cute nicknames ([name_f]Mercy[/name_f], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]) would be nice.
Loner Names: These are names that I can’t really come up with a middle name for.
[name_f]Cara[/name_f] or [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] (with the nickname [name_f]Cara[/name_f])
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
