I went to Mexico a few years ago almost on a whim and feel in love with the beauty of that country. What are some cool Mexican names that are also usable for Anglo or American wearers?

Names from Latin [name_u]America[/name_u] are so diverse in origin and styles it’s difficult to pick a handful of favorites.
One example of this variety is the amazing way they’ve adopted Arabic names and integrated them so well into their culture, because of the Moorish presence in the Iberian peninsula. [name_f]Fatima[/name_f], Zuhaila, [name_m]Sameer[/name_m] and [name_m]Omar[/name_m] were names I did not expect to come across in Mexico, and yet they are so common and adapted with a Mexican accent that they gave a new appreciation for them.
I also like names that are nature based like [name_u]Rocio[/name_u], [name_f]Estrella[/name_f], [name_f]Brisa[/name_f] and Lluvia. The double L in Spanish has a lovely, rhythmic sound.
Finally, I’ve long admired the advocacies of the Virgin [name_f]Mary[/name_f] names. I am not a [name_u]Christian[/name_u], but how I love names like [name_u]Maria[/name_u] de la [name_u]Paz[/name_u], [name_u]Maria[/name_u] de los [name_f]Angeles[/name_f], [name_u]Maria[/name_u] de la [name_f]Luz[/name_f], [name_u]Maria[/name_u] del [name_u]Cielo[/name_u], and others like [name_f]Guadalupe[/name_f], [name_u]Carmen[/name_u], [name_f]Fatima[/name_f] (in this context), [name_f]Soledad[/name_f], [name_f]Milagros[/name_f], [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f]. It’s like a mini-poem in a name.
In general, some of my favorites are [name_f]Esperanza[/name_f], [name_f]Carlota[/name_f], [name_f]Ximena[/name_f], [name_f]Florinda[/name_f], [name_f]Mariana[/name_f], [name_f]Maribel[/name_f], [name_f]Araceli[/name_f], [name_f]Julieta[/name_f], [name_f]Renata[/name_f], [name_f]Eugenia[/name_f], [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f].
