Mia or Leah?

I think [name_f]Leah[/name_f] is a “flowier” name that rolls more easily off the tongue, but I also have a somewhat bad connotation to it because of a previous friendship. The combo for [name_f]Leah[/name_f] would either be [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] or [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. The combo for [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. What do you think?

Personally I like

[name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] - rolls off the tongue nicely

I personally prefer [name_f]Mia[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is gorgeous! If the negative association bothers you, I would definitely not use it. I love [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], and love the idea of a little [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], but I have a negative association with it, and it bothers me enough that I could never use [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] as a FN. :frowning: I think [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] would be absolutely darling, though. For what it’s worth (at least here!), [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is definitely more popular than [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. They’re both pretty popular, though, and both are really sweet names. So I’m going for [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], but [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is a close second.

Good luck!

Leah is such a classic name but still has that lovely lilting sound that is so fashionable. I love it. I like Mia but it much trendier, I prefer it as a nickname. I think both middles work well, Renee is a little dated and more of a mom name but still lovely. Alexandra is a little more modern but has already peaked also…personally I prefer the sound of Alexandra for the middle.

[name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]!

[name_f]Leah[/name_f] is classic. [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is more modern and popular. I personally would use [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]!

So hard! Both great names that of course sound so much alike. I picture [name_f]Leah[/name_f] on someone my age (mid-20’s) and [name_f]Mia[/name_f] on a little girl so I guess it is easier to me to picture a baby with the name [name_f]Mia[/name_f].

[name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is gorgeous, as is Leah Catherine.

I definitely prefer [name_f]Mia[/name_f], despite it’s popularity. [name_f]Leah[/name_f] just feels so overdone to me. I know soooo many [name_f]Leah[/name_f]'s but only 1 [name_f]Mia[/name_f] & 1 [name_f]Maya[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. Second choice would be [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] because I dislike how [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] the a’s run together of le[name_m]AH[/name_m] [name_f]ALexandra[/name_f] and how both names end in A. Too much “a” going on in that name. [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is simple and sweet.
