Micaiah, boy or girl?

According to behindthename.com, it is pronounced mie-[name_u]KAY[/name_u]-uh and it is a unisex baby name meaning “who is like God”.

According to nameberry is it pronounced mick-[name_u]KYE[/name_u]-ah and is masculine.

I prefer the first pronunciation and think it is more feminine but as a mother of an [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] I’m a little worried.

What do you think of it?

If we use it n a girl it would be a middle name.

I’ve only seen [name_m]Micajah[/name_m] (that spelling) as a male name, pronounced “mick-eye-uh.” I’ve heard that pronunciation used for girls as well, but it’s usually spelled Makaya, Mikaya, etc in those cases.

Perhaps try a different spelling. Mykaya or Mykaia perhaps? I agree with what Nameberry says the pronounciation.
