My boyfriend and I were discussing names last night…He really likes the name [name]Michaela[/name]…I think it is pretty…but wondering if it is too trendy?? what do you think of this name?

[name]Hi[/name]! I think that [name]Michaela[/name], spelled [name]Michaela[/name], is such a beautiful name, but unfortunately, the trendy spellings are now more popular than [name]Michaela[/name]. ([name]Michaela[/name] is #357, but [name]Mikayla[/name] is #170, [name]Makayla[/name] is #37, etc!) I’ve also seen Mikailah, Mykaila, and a bunch of others, so I’m guessing that spelling will be an issue for this name.
[name]Even[/name] though the [name]Michaela[/name] spelling doesn’t feel trendy to me, I sadly still associate it with the trendy, yooneek spellings. I do think it has such a pretty sound, though.
If popularity is an issue for you, you may also like [name]Micheline[/name] or [name]Michelina[/name].
