We think we have a boys name picked now we need help with a girls name. (if [name]Baby[/name] is a Boy Current Favourite is [name]Augustus[/name] [name]Xavier[/name] “[name]Gus[/name]”
My mother’s name is [name]Nora[/name], and she hates it, but I want to honor her with this baby. I love the name [name]Ella[/name], but way too popular, and [name]Eleanor[/name] is close but I would prefer to have [name]NORA[/name] in the name.
Anyways, most the girls names I like end with “A” and or they seem to be too much of a name. So I am coming to you for help. What names would you pair with the middle name [name]Eleanora[/name]. [name]Nora[/name] as a first name is not an option.
Girls names I love, (to give you an idea) but feel are too much are
[name]Aurora[/name] ( NN [name]Rory[/name])
[name]Arianna[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] (but too popular)
[name]Thalia[/name]
[name]Aurelia[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name]
Daughter is [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Chantal[/name] - had no idea [name]Chloe[/name] would take off like it did!
I like [name]Augustus[/name] [name]Xavier[/name]!
I also like [name]Eleanora[/name] as a first name. Other names including [name]Nora[/name] could be [name]Lenora[/name], [name]Leonora[/name] and [name]Honora[/name]/[name]Annora[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] ( NN [name]Rory[/name]) - Sounds a lot like [name]Honora[/name]/[name]Annora[/name]. [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name] is definitely a tongue twister.
[name]Arianna[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name] is easier to say than [name]Aurora[/name] but is still a lot of vowels. What about [name]Arianna[/name] [name]Lenora[/name]?
[name]Charlotte[/name] (but too popular) - agreed on the popularity, but it is so pretty.
[name]Thalia[/name] and [name]Aurelia[/name] - since they end with two vowel sounds, a middle name beginning with a vowel doesn’t really flow. The [name]Lenora[/name] and [name]Leonora[/name] options would be better, but its still a lot of name.
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Honora[/name] - I like this!
If you’re set on [name]Eleanora[/name] for a middle name, you may want to consider a shorter first name. But I don’t know if there are many that you would like.
[name]Hi[/name] there! I love [name]Augustus[/name] [name]Xavier[/name], and think that [name]Eleanora[/name] is beautiful. Like Twinkle said, I think that a middle name like [name]Eleanora[/name] works beautifully with a simple first name. Hmm… I think it’s hard to pair [name]Eleanora[/name] with a first name ending in A, not only because the back-to-back a/e vowels (end of first name, beginning of middle) breaks up the flow, but because, like Twinkle said, the combos become a mouthful.
I can’t see your post as I’m typing this, but is [name]Nora[/name] a possibility in the middle?
I’ll stick with names like [name]Charlotte[/name]:
[name]Daphne[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name] (I don’t think that the back-to-back vowels break up the flow here…)
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name] (close to your [name]Penelope[/name])
[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name] (not the best flow…)
If you’re open to using [name]Nora[/name] in the middle, I think you can more easily use a frilly -a name up front.
[name]Arabelle[/name] [name]Nora[/name]/[name]Arabella[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Francesca[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Nora[/name] (nn [name]Evie[/name])
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Mirabelle[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Marielle[/name]/[name]Mariella[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Nora[/name] (I think it works with [name]Nora[/name] in the middle…)
[name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Nora[/name]
