Middle name for Adam?

My #1 boy name is [name]Adam[/name]. It’s classic, handsome and all [name]Adams[/name] I know are great guys.
What do you think of this name? [name]Do[/name] you think it is overused or dated?(most [name]Adams[/name] I know are in their 30s now)
[name]Do[/name] you mind helping me with middle names? I would like something Biblical or classic, like [name]Noah[/name](can’t use) or [name]Joseph[/name](don’t like it much). Currently I love [name]Adam[/name] [name]Levi[/name]. Any other ideas?

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Levi[/name] makes me think of [name]Adam[/name] Levine.

[name]How[/name] about:

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Jude[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Gregory[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Logan[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Elliott[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Wyatt[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Everett[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Shane[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Philip[/name]

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Adam[/name] [name]Everett[/name] are great, I really love it! Thank you!
And do you think [name]Adam[/name] Levine is a bad connection?

I love [name]Adam[/name], and I’m right there with you when I say all the [name]Adams[/name] I have ever known were great guys (The same with every [name]Tom[/name] and [name]Dan[/name]).

For a middle name I think I’d go for something a bit fuller, so to speak. [name]Adam[/name] and [name]Joseph[/name] are good names, but together they just become ‘MaleFirstname Malemiddlename.’

Biblical: [name]Malachi[/name], [name]Matthias[/name], [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Phineas[/name]?

Maybe not your style, but I think when you use a classic, short, first name you should go big or go home in the middle!

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name] is handsome, I thought about it, but isn’t it very long with 2 syllable last name? I also really like how [name]Adam[/name] [name]Noah[/name] sounds.

I like [name]Adam[/name]. It seems quite under the radar these days, even with the resurgence of Bible names, [name]Adam[/name] doesn’t seem to get a lot of love. I’m not sure I’d use it, but I think part of it is because my best friend in high school was [name]Adam[/name] (okay, yes, and a former crush), and I think people would think it’d be a bit odd for me to name my son that, especially since we haven’t really had any contact after high school.

I like the suggestion of [name]Adam[/name] [name]Everett[/name]! Very handsome. I like [name]Adam[/name] [name]Levi[/name], and I didn’t really get the [name]Adam[/name] Levine thing. I don’t know that it’s a bad connection (Maroon 5 is a cool band!), but I’m not sure I would want people to think I named my son after him, either, haha.

A few other ideas:

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] (although this might be too close to [name]Sam[/name] [name]Adams[/name]…)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Henry[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]George[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Peter[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Zachary[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Felix[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Josiah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Isaiah[/name]

Good luck!

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Zachary[/name] and [name]Adam[/name] [name]Isaiah[/name] are handsome. I wonder how you pronounce [name]Isaiah[/name] - I just met a boy who pronounced his name “ee-sai-uh”, is it [name]Isaiah[/name]?
And that’s too bad [name]Adam[/name] [name]Levi[/name] has Levine connections, I would like a short name ending in a vowel. Luckily I get your great suggestions:)

I love [name]Adam[/name]! I think it a great underused classic. A friend of mine has [name]Adam[/name] [name]Heath[/name]. I always thought that was a great combo.

[name]Adam[/name] is a great name! It sounds handsome and masculine and is underused in recent years. I really love [name]Adam[/name] [name]Levi[/name], great choice!

Most people I know say it eye-ZAY-ah. I’ve heard a couple people from the UK say eye-ZYE-ah, too, and my Spanish-speaking pastor pronounces it ee-[name]SAY[/name]-ahs/ee-[name]SAY[/name]-ah. So maybe it was the Spanish pronunciation? Either way, I really like it as a name. If you want a Biblical name ending in a vowel/vowel sound, what about:

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Ezra[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Jonah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Judah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Jeremiah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Joshua[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Malachi[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Hosea[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Asa[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Eli[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Elijah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Elisha[/name] (ee-LYE-shah. [name]Elisha[/name] was a kick-butt prophet in the Bible, he’d be such a cool namesake!)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Jesse[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] Joash (okay, Joash is a bit on the weird side, haha, but he was a great king at the beginning, and I would think people would be more open to it, with its easy nns of [name]Joe[/name]/[name]Joey[/name] and [name]Ash[/name]! It doesn’t end in a vowel, but I still think it’s pretty cool!)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Josiah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] Manasseh (mah-NASS-uh. I think it’s a really cool name, but the [name]King[/name] Manasseh was pretty evil in the Bible. [name]One[/name] of [name]Joseph[/name]'s sons was Manasseh, I believe, too, but I don’t really know what he was known for)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Micah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Moshe[/name] (the Hebrew form of the more Biblical/traditional [name]Moses[/name]. I prefer [name]Moses[/name], personally, but [name]Moshe[/name] would get you the ending vowel sound)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Naphtali[/name] (one of [name]Jacob[/name]'s 12 sons. With [name]Natalie[/name]'s popularity for girls, I would think [name]Naphtali[/name] would be growing in popularity for boys–I think it has a really cool sound)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Nehemiah[/name] (rebuilt Jerusalem and its walls after the Babylonians took them captive–while I don’t love [name]Nehemiah[/name], I love the story)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Mordecai[/name] (maybe it’s just because I [name]LOVE[/name] the story of [name]Esther[/name], but I think this would be pretty cool!)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Tobiah[/name] (although the [name]Tobiah[/name] in the book of [name]Nehemiah[/name] was pretty awful; he kind of put me off of [name]Tobiah[/name]/[name]Tobias[/name], but it is a nice name!)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Uriah[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Zebedee[/name] (och, love this!)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Zachariah[/name] (if you want to get technical, this would be the Bible name, haha, [name]Zachary[/name]'s just the modern variant of it)
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Zephaniah[/name]

I also like the idea of [name]Adam[/name] [name]Phineas[/name], [name]Adam[/name] [name]Rufus[/name], and [name]Adam[/name] [name]Reuben[/name], but they don’t end in a vowel/vowel sound.

A lot of them are really obscure, haha, sorry, but I figure with a classic like [name]Adam[/name], it might be fun to go for a lesser known Bible name. If you know the Bible/have a favorite story, then maybe you could look for something along those lines? Unless you’re not a [name]Christian[/name]/don’t care/just like the idea of a Bible name. Then I suppose it doesn’t really matter.

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Levi[/name] is great. I also like [name]Adam[/name] [name]Jonah[/name], [name]Adam[/name] [name]Moses[/name], and [name]Adam[/name] [name]Issac[/name].

Thank you so much, [name]Ashley[/name], you were of help!
I really like [name]Adam[/name] with [name]Judah[/name], [name]Jeremiah[/name], [name]Elisha[/name], [name]Elijah[/name], [name]Jesse[/name], Naphatail, [name]Josiah[/name] and [name]Zachariah[/name]. Those are some great ideas, thanks again!

[name]Adam[/name] Isaas is cool, thanks, paw.

[name]Adam[/name] is a great name. It’s timeless, handsome, and very under the radar. I like [name]Adam[/name] with a three (or more) syllable middle name. From the combos you’ve mentioned liking, I love [name]Adam[/name] [name]Elisha[/name], [name]Adam[/name] [name]Elijah[/name], [name]Adam[/name] [name]Isaiah[/name], and [name]Adam[/name] [name]Josiah[/name].

[name]Adam[/name] [name]Ezekiel[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Ezra[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Jacob[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Luke[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Elias[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Isaac[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Joel[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Joshua[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Julius[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Augustus[/name]

I too love the name [name]Adam[/name]. A good friend of mine has a 5 year old names [name]Adam[/name] [name]Zane[/name]. Some other suggestions:
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Finn[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Zeke[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Jack[/name]
[name]Adam[/name] [name]Leo[/name]

I just keep thinking [name]Adam[/name] [name]Daniel[/name].

I like [name]Adam[/name] [name]Leo[/name] and [name]Adam[/name] [name]Joel[/name], thanks! Still love [name]Adam[/name] [name]Levi[/name] though.

Dunno if this qualifies as “classic”, but I came up with the combo [name]Adam[/name] [name]Conrad[/name] for one of the characters in that near-future SF novel of mine.

[name]Conrad[/name] is interesting, not something I would think of. Thanks!
